Description
Suprasel pool salt is a premium granule salt with an exceptionally high NaCl content of ≥99.8%. It has been specially developed for swimming pools with a salt electrolysis installation and dissolves quickly and completely without leaving residue. The result is consistent chlorine production, clear water and a longer lifespan for your cell.
Who is Suprasel pool salt suitable for?
Suprasel pool salt is suitable for private swimming pools with a salt electrolysis installation from brands such as Zodiac, Pentair, AstralPool, Hayward and BWT. It also meets the requirements for professional and semi-professional pools, wellness pools and hotel pools. You can use it for an initial fill, for seasonal maintenance or as a top-up during the swimming season.
Why choose Suprasel?
- High purity protects your installation
Due to the minimal content of insoluble substances, Suprasel prevents deposits on the electrolysis cell. This extends the lifespan of your installation and reduces maintenance.
- Fast solubility
The fine, uniform granule dissolves completely. No salt bed is left on the bottom and chlorine production starts without delay.
- Consistent performance
Every batch is controlled for purity, moisture content and grain size, so you get the same result with every bag.
Dosing and use
For an average salt electrolysis system, a salt concentration of 3 to 5 g/l is required. Allow approximately 4 kg of salt per m³ of water for an initial fill. A pool of 50 m³ therefore requires around 200 kg of salt, which is eight bags of Suprasel. During the season you typically lose 5 to 10% of the salt through evaporation, backwashing and top-up water. Top up in time according to the indicator of your system.
How much pool salt do you need?
For an initial fill, allow a salt concentration of approximately 4 g/l, which is 4 kg of salt per m³ of water. The exact value depends on your salt electrolysis system (usually between 3 and 5 g/l). The table below provides a guideline based on 4 kg per m³.
